Writing a cover letter

Whenever you submit a CV for a job vacancy you should always send it with a cover letter. Essentially a cover letter is a letter that is traditionally sent with a CV. In the cover letter you will list your name and address and also introduce yourself and address the letter to the HR manager. You will also state the job position that you are applying for and also say where you saw it advertised, i.e. in a newspaper or on a job board.
