To conduct structural work reporting to a Chief Stress Engineer or Team Leader on national or multi-national projects.
The role is within the Mechanical Analysis Group which is approximately 30 strong and all the analysts are expected to do a mixture of analytical work and documentation.

The role will include:

1. Structural and dynamic analysis using classical and finite element methods preferably using Patran and Nastran.

2. Derivation and specification of loading data from Technical Specifications.

3. Preparation of Structural Integrity Plans.

4. Preparation of Structural design records.

5. Preparation of Structural Test Requirements.

6. Interfacing with Sub-contractors and partners

7. Carry out failure investigations.

8. The role requires a knowledge of structural analysis and documentation
