Jigsaw is an exciting development within Southampton’s specialist services for children with learning difficulties and disabilities. The integration of Health, Education and Social Care specialist services has developed over the last three years, having launched in July 2007. We now offer integrated, multi-agency assessment and intervention plans within a one stop shop for our children and their families.

As an enthusiastic and well-motivated Assistant Team Manager, you will manage a team of social workers, ensuring that social work values are integral to evidence based practice. You will play a vital role in the continued development of effectively integrated multi-agency services for children with disabilities and their families whilst working within departmental policies and procedures to ensure that children are safeguarded.

You will need to have a Diploma in Social Work or equivalent and proven post qualifying experience of practice and supervision. Experience of working in a multi-agency setting is desirable. As a new member of the team you would receive an induction programme linked to your particular needs, a mentor, regular supervision and access to internal and interagency training.
