NHS Croydon is an Equal Opportunities employer and has achieved Practice Plus status. We support flexible working arrangements and would consider applications from part-timers, job share and those wishing to be seconded from their current employer.

The Trust is committed to addressing discrimination in employment, in line with the Disability Discrimination Act (1995) and the Disability Discrimination (Amendment) Act (2005). and is the holder of the disability 'Two Ticks' symbol. Applicants with disabilities, including mental health, will be offered an interview providing they meet the minimum criteria for the post as detailed in the person specification.

People with disabilities (including mental ill health) who are appointed to posts in the Trust will receive support, if required, to enable them to work effectively. The Trust will work with you to explore what reasonable adjustments can be made to accommodate your disability. For example, support from the Access to Work Scheme and adjustment in your working pattern.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to work within the Croydon Joint Community Learning Disability Team. As the team’s band 7 Therapist the post holder will be required to provide a high quality Occupational Therapy service by working with clients, carers and families and local providers in order to enhance services received by adults with learning disabilities within the borough. The role will be integral in facilitating effective supported living placements as well as those people living within Croydon Adult Placement Scheme by working with the client and providers of services within the client’s home in order to maximise individual independence and skill base.
