We are looking for an experienced Information Manager to lead the Information Management Team.

The Information Management Team provides an exciting and challenging opportunity to improve the way that the Council manages and uses information. As a member of this team you will play a leading role in making information work in the Council.

You will lead the development and implementation of the Council’s information management strategy. The aim of the strategy is to develop an environment that encourages and supports the effective management of information, with a more informed workforce that spends more time using data than searching for it, and where staff and partners have ready access to the tools and information necessary to do their jobs effectively and efficiently. You will manage the resulting programme of work to implement the strategy and effectively meet the Council’s information, legal and business objectives.

You will also provide advice and guidance on information management to the Council including defining information architectures that support the delivery of transformed customer focused services.
