With Equality & Diversity at the heart of the evolution of the West Midlands Fire Service this an exciting time to join our team. Ensuring our internal E&D training programme continues to be effective is an important part of the job. So, too, is promoting E&D principles within the wider community. This will involve meeting local community groups - offering them advice and support, and providing tailor-made educational packages. As well as attending community events and fairs, you’ll also organise your own initiatives – to help bring communities together. You’ll have:
• A background in Equality & Diversity and delivering training programmes
• Outstanding diplomatic skills, with a high degree of emotional intelligence
• A flexible attitude that readily embraces change
• A driving licence and access to a car.
