The main purpose of the post will be to manage and continue to develop an Energy Management function within the Resources Directorate. The post holder will manage and lead the Energy Team and work positively to reduce our energy / water use and emissions, and ensure appropriate security of supply. The post holder will be responsible for leading, achieving and maintaining the Energy Standard required to ensure that Warwickshire performs well within the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme and to comply with all other appropriate legal requirements.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in energy management, capable of understanding and interpreting energy consumption patterns and developing and implementing associated action plans, ensure the efficient and effective delivery of an Energy Management function and ongoing compliance with energy legislation to all Warwickshire County Properties. Ability and experience to manage a small team of energy professionals is desirable.
