RAIL - CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR required to maintain a safe operation of the Railway & Safety of Passengers, Staff & Public during the construction of new or altered Assets adjacent to the Railway.


Accountabilities:
* Monitor Construction works to ensure Safety of the Railway
* Review and Comment on Method Statements
* Ensure that works are carried out in accordance with agreed Method Statements
* Resolve Technical Issues
* Monitor and Record Site Progress
* Liaise with relevant LU Departments
* Manage own Training / Personal development requirements


SKILL / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
* Supervising Civil Engineering works on a Railway Construction Site
* In depth knowledge of Construction Practices
* Interpret and understand Construction Drawings / Specifications
* Flexibility to work unsocial hours as required onsite
* CSCS Gold Card desired
* Membership of Institute of Clerk of Works a benefit
