At Hampshire, Child Protection and Child Welfare are key priorities. As part of a small team, you'll provide full administration support to child protection conferences across the County.
Working closely with the Senior Child Protection Administrative Officer/Chair of conferences providing full administrative support of a consistently high standard to child protection conferences, you'll have experience in minuting and effective interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with high level ICT skills.
You'll have a positive and flexible approach to teamwork and the ability to work on your own initiative. With a formal relevant qualification (beyond GSCE or equivalent). These skills will assist you in providing information to both internal and external customers
Job purpose
To provide full administration support to child protection conferences across the County.
Essential qualifications
• A good academic background, educated beyond GCSE (AS level/BTEC or equivalent).
• Evidence of higher level administrative experience, either through a formal qualification or experience in previous roles.
Desirable Qualifications
• OCR IT skills or equivalent.
• BTEC National Diploma in Administration or NVQ equivalent.

• Customer care skills.
• Be computer literate with standard Microsoft applications.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Good personal and office organisational abilities.
• Excellent IT skills using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.

• Ability to work on own initiative with limited supervision.
• Experience of taking notes at meetings
• Where appropriate, demonstrable competence or aptitude to manage others.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organisation and with external contacts.
