Minstead Study Centre is a unique environment in which children are able to see their sustainability learning come to life. Situated in the heart of the New Forest it offers primary school children a chance to stay in a stunning Eco building and spend a week having memorable adventures in the natural world. Joining our unique centre, you’ll provide a comprehensive administrative support in areas such as customer service, ICT and finance.
Excellent communication skills are essential as you'll be in frequent contact with managers, colleagues and pupils. You will need a positive and flexible approach to teamwork and have the ability to work on your own initiative. With a formal relevant qualification (beyond GSCE or equivalent) you will have effective interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with high level ICT skills.
Job purpose
To develop and establish administration systems within the Centre, and where appropriate, supervise others, to deliver an efficient service in support of the Centre’s requirements.

•Formal qualification (beyond GCSE) and competence in specialist functions as appropriate.

Essential knowledge, skills & experience
•Previous experience delivering a wide range of administrative functions.
•Computer literacy with experience of using a variety of software for data management and transmission.
•Where appropriate, demonstrable competence or aptitude to manage others.
•Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organisation and with external contacts.
•Ability to use own initiative, organise own workload with minimal supervision
•Excellent organisational skills
•Ability to manage competing demands
•Ability to work well as a team member
