Job Description
 |
Working in our busy Highway Office, you will be responsible for managing the administrative services team to ensure effective delivery of the highway and transport service. This includes managing a team of administrative staff, co-ordinating health and safety issues, monitoring budgets and ensuring a quality administrative service is provided in the sub-offices at Totton and Andover. A member of the local management team, you will have regular involvement with branch and corporate activities.
With extensive office administration, financial and staff management experience, you will be suitably qualified and have excellent customer care skills.
Job purpose
To develop, direct and coordinate an administrative team in providing a full range of administrative services to fulfil organisational business requirements, and take an active role in developing strategy and operations for the overall business need.
Essential qualifications
• Formal qualifications or equivalent in business administration with extensive relevant experience in development of administrative systems and procedures.
